RAYMOND A. ROUSSELL JR., 60, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP

RAYMOND A. ROUSSELL JR., 60, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at
CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Ray was a lifelong resident of Oakhurst. In 1963,
Raymond joined the U.S. Air Force and served his country until 1967. From 1967 to 1977, he was a police
officer for the Ocean Township Police Department. In 1978, Raymond started a new career and along with
his wife, Ellen, became the owner of the 7-Eleven store in Wayside. He operated that store until 1991.
Raymond was a member of the Oakhurst Methodist Church and the Monmouth Shore Points Motorcycle Club.
At age 18, he became a junior member of the Oakhurst Fire Company, Hose 1, and remained a loyal and
dedicated member for more than 40 years, serving as a chief and commissioner of the fire company.
Besides spending precious time with his grandchildren whom he loved so much, he was also passionate
about the Muscular Dystrophy Association and worked with it while operating the 7-Eleven.
Raymond is survived by his parents, Leo Ray "Gigs" and Doris Mae Barthelemy Roussell of
Ocean Township; his wife, Ellen M. Allgood Roussell; two sons, Michael A. and his wife, Paula, and Alan
R. and his wife, Jennifer, all of Oakhurst; his sister, Karen Hardy and her husband, Tom of Oakhurst;
three grandchildren, Samantha, Aiden, and Abigail; and three nephews, Tommy Jr., John, and Patrick.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home,
2652 Route 38, Wall. Final respects may be paid at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and then a funeral
service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Oakhurst Methodist Church, Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Interment will
follow at 1 p.m. in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. The family
requests that donations be made in Raymond's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association,
1161 Broad St., Suite 114, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
RICHARD FRANK DI BIASE, 38, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP

RICHARD FRANK DI BIASE, 38, of Oakhurst, OCEAN TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, March 2, after a short illness. Born in Long Branch, he graduated from Ranney School and received an associate's degree in criminal justice from Brookdale Community College. He also attended Monmouth University. He swam with Central Jersey Aquatic Club for 10 years, Ranney School for four years and Monmouth University for a year. Mr. DiBiase was a resident of Oakhurst for the past 14 years. He was a member of the Ocean Township Police Department since 1988, as well as a member of the Oakhurst Fire Department, where he served as Chief of the Fire Department in 1998. He was a past member of both the River Plaza Hose Company and the Lincroft First Aid Squad. He was also a member of the Ocean Township Police Underwater Search and Recovery Team. He received numerous awards from both the police and fire departments for his service and heroism, and he has touched so many people's lives. A loving and devoted father and husband, Mr. DiBiase especially enjoyed the beach and scuba diving.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth DiBiase; a 9-month-old daughter, Gianna DiBiase; his parents, Joseph and Lynn DiBiase of Bushkill Township, Pa.; a sister, Melissa, brother-in-law, Matthew and nephew, Alex Miranda of Nazareth, Pa.; a brother, Hunter DiBiase of Bushkill Township, Pa.; and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at The Worden-Hoidal Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. A funeral service will be held at noon Monday at the Oakhurst United Methodist Church, 103 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in his memory to the Hematologic Malignancies at CINJ at 195 Little Albany St., New Brunswick, NJ 08901, or the Gianna DiBiase Trust Fund, c/o Richard English, Esq., P.O.
